FireWear Flame Retardant Coveralls

Fabric

Flame Retardant Coveralls are made of a FireWear flame resistant 9.0 oz blend of 55% FFR™ 45% Cotton.    

The FireWear fabric meets or exceeds the following:

NFPA Standards 1971, 1975, 1977, 70E
ASTM - F1506
OSHA 1910.269

 
  FFR™ is a fibrous flame retardant fiber which works by emitting a noncombustible gas which smothers the flame much like a fire extinguisher. This type of fabric when used in a Flame Retardant Coverall is preferred by some customers due to the comfort of the cotton fabric and the excellent flame smothering capabilities of the FFR.

- Two patch style chest pockets
- Heavy duty two-way taped brass zipper with NOMEX® zipper tape
- Zipper cover includes nickel plated brass snaps covered on inside
- Lay flat collar
- Adjustable snap closures on sleeve cuffs
- Left sleeve has a sleeve pocket
- Two set-in front pockets
- Two patch hip pockets with snap closure on left hip pocket
- Right leg includes a two in one utility tool pocket
- Pleated bi-swing action back
- Elastic in waistband
- Lower half of Flame Retardant Coverall has felled inseams
- Side vent opening to inside with snap closure
- NOMEX® thread used throughout FFR fabric construction
- All metal covered to ensure no contact with skin
- Numeric sizing

Applications

The Topps Flame Retardant Coveralls  are used in situations where a breathable fabric is required such as station wear and over garments for firefighting.

Flame Resistance

FireWear FFR fabric is inherently flame resistant for the life of the garment and this property can not be degraded by laundering.
