    This design of the slotted hard hat comes with a 12 cal/cm² (ATPV)rated faceshield that features great visible light transmission (VLT). This category 2 face shield assembly comes with a larger chin cup then the 10 cal unit for additional protection. This arc flash face shield is designed for workers who may be exposed to a category 2 arc fault yet want the safety of having a little higher exposure rating in the same hard hat and face shield combo.

    The 12 cal NSA arc flash face shield is a slotted hard hat with a face shield that attaches to it along with the chin cup which helps keep the face shield in place. The parts such as face shield and chin cup can also be purchased as replacement parts.
