The
notch collar lapel counter coats available from Red Kap are designed in both a 7.0 oz
twill and a 5.0 oz light weight
poplin material. The fabric construction of the 7.0 oz twill lapel counter coats is
a 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend finished with a pre-cure durable press while
the 5.0 oz notch collar coats are an 80% polyester /
20% cotton blend. The 7.0 oz style lapel counter coats come with a choice of
either a three button front closure or a three gripper
snap front closure while the 5.0 oz PST coats are only available in the three
button front style. Both styles of coats have two lower front pockets and one
left chest pocket.
The 5.0 oz coats are constructed of a lighter material and
the fabric composition has more polyester in it then the 7.0 oz style. The 7.0
oz is also made of a twill weave due to there being more cotton in the fabric.
The difference in the two weight is that the lighter 5.0 oz weight is lighter in
weight but will not breath as good as the 7.0 oz due to a higher polyester
content in the fabric.
