Poly/Cotton Coveralls Snap Front Closures

     Polyester/cotton blend style coveralls in a snap front closure have been eliminated from our line of coveralls that we provide for you our customers. The reason for discontinuing this design is that there is very little demand for poly/cotton blend with a snap front closure only the zipper front closure is being purchased.
    The snap front opening style is designed for uses where there may be a need to open the front of the coverall in a hurry or just for the sake of the design feature of a snap closure. Customer's require the gripper front opening mostly for the job tasks that require welding procedures where one may require to get the coverall open very quickly due to sparks or burning of the coverall. In the welding industry poly/cotton blend fabric is not used because if the coveralls were subject to a flame source the fabric would melt and drip into the person's skin causing a much deeper burn. For this reason 100% cotton coveralls are used in welding as when the cotton fabric is ignited the garment will flame up and burn maybe causing injury to the outer skin layer but the fiber would not melt and drip into the skin like the poly/cotton blend material.
    The one problem we have found is that the jobs that require a poly/cotton coverall usually involve moving around in confined spaces and that is why customers require a garment that will stand up to the abuse of coming into contact with the ground or other rough surfaces and therefore the more durable poly/cotton blend is purchased. When working in awkward situations the last thing you need is to have the coverall snagging on objects due to the spaces between the snaps on the coverall.
