Excel Flame Resistant Cotton

Bulwark, frc clothing manufacturer has introduced a new line of ISO certified workwear to meet the quality and reliability their customers have come to expect through the VF history of workwear products. The Excel flame resistant uniforms are replacing the Indura FR cotton in what Bulwark believes will enable them to provide a level of quality control that will enhance the lifetime relationship with their customers. This will be achieved by having the 100% flame resistant cotton Excel and the 88% cotton 12% nylon blend Excel Comfortouch being supplied exclusively to Bulwark from Mount Vernon Mills. The benefit of this relationship is the quality control that goes into the fabric construction through a computer monitored process that oversees fabric construction from the very start to the finished product. This includes all the work from converting the fiber to yarn, weaving, dyeing and finishing with the fabric treatment.

The Excel flame resistant uniforms will be available in the 100% FR cotton in 6.5 oz to 14.75 oz weights in shirts, pants, coveralls and outerwear. The enhanced durability of the Excel Comfortouch is available in a 88% cotton 12% nylon blend for those situations requiring more protection and a tougher, longer wearing garment. As a distributor for various ISO certified workwear suppliers I can say that the Excel fabric has the highest rating associated with the same weight garments compared to other similar fabrics that I have researched.
