NSA’s High Heat
Kevlar Terrycloth Gloves used as PPE protect and comfort the hands of the
workers against heat and physical damage produced by friction, abrasion or
chemicals while also providing protection against materials that should not
be touched by the bare hands when dealing with high heat.
Kevlar is a para-aramid-based
fabric that provides excellent hand protection against extreme heat while
providing maximum manual dexterity otherwise hampered by the stiff asbestos
fibers. Kevlar fibers do not burn, or melt and are a highly suitable
substitute for asbestos fibers in gloves.
NSA’s High Heat
Kevlar Terrycloth gloves are used where handling high temperature items is
required. High heat Kevlar
Terrycloth gloves provide strength and comfort as well as exceptional
resistance to cuts, slash, abrasion and heat while they also give maximum
dexterity as a safety glove. These cut-protective gloves are reinforced with
Kevlar fibers in the palm and fingers and are provided with a cotton lining
for maximized dexterity and excellent fit.
NSA’s High Heat
Kevlar Terrycloth gloves are also available with an aluminized back for
radiant heat protection. Aluminized gloves are effective in reflecting
radiant heat away from the hands. These types of gloves are made of Kevlar
material base while the back of the glove outer layer is coated with
aluminum-based materials for heat reflection.
High heat Kevlar
Terrycloth gloves are suitable for working in open flames and hot metal
splashes with temperatures ranging from 350°C to 1000°C. The gloves can be
used in handling sharp, hot, oily or greasy materials, stamping and cutting
of metals, manufacture of machine tools, working with glass in a furnace and
handling sheet metal.
