Nomex Flight
Suits are a style of
coveralls from Topps Safety Apparel that are constructed with the consideration
of flight pilots in the design features.
These Nomex coveralls come in a 4.5 oz weight with an ATPV rating of 4.8.
The Nomex Flight Suits differ from a regular Nomex coverall design in that they have
many more pockets with zippered closures and zippers along the bottom of the
legs.
The zippered pockets allow for the security of not having objects fall out when in flight and the lower leg pockets which are also zippered are easy to reach into when in a sitting position during flight procedures. Leg zippers allow for easy access when putting on and taking off the Nomex flight suit.
